Hibiscus flower tea is a Herbal tea made as an infusion from crimson or deep magenta-coloured calyces of the rosella flower. It is consumed both hot and cold. It has a tart, cranberry-like flavour. The sweet, delicate flavour blends well with tea and when infused with hot water, gives a lovely aroma and taste. This is also used to decorate cakes and desserts.
