Wel Penela (Balloon Vine) – Cardiospermum Halicacabum
An indigenous plant of Sri Lanka and south East Asia and used in Ayurvedic medication widely. A very popular herb used in porridge (Kola Kandha) and also taken in form of tea and with meals.
Its said to help the following, amongst many others;
  •  Improve / increase Sperm count and acts as an aphrodisiac
  • To treat Dysentery
