Susantha Tea factory is situated in the southern tea planting areas of Sri Lanka. This factory processes leaf only from small holders / farmers in the vicinity of the factory and producers some of the best teas in the island. The teas are in very high demand due to the exceptional standards they maintain. Susantha teas have joined the elite club of UK The Leafies and is taking part in this years International Tea Academy Awards competition in September 2023.
The BOP1 is an evenly graded, well twisted leaf full bodied, rich in character, malty with a hint of caramelly and mild smokiness. Can be taken straight or with milk and with a sweetener if you wish.
