NVK – Silver Tip
Silver needles or Silver tips are the tiny buds of the tea plant. These are also only from a special clone of the plant Camellia Sinensis or the better known tea plant. These are carefully harvested and dried in the shade to avoid discolouration. The furry effect in the bud gives the silvery effect and needs extra care in handling and producing this tea as its very fragile especially when and after drying. Its a very light brew and has a mellow taste and a floral aroma.
Very well sort after tea as reflected in the price.

Single garden Ceylon OP – Kenilworth Estate loose leaf tea
A lovely tea. A long well twisted leaf, the Orange Pekoe, is possibly the most wanted tea in the UK. Has a rich history and reputation for quality especially the OP grade. Has a reddish liquor with a golden tinge. Takes milk well although light in comparison to the small leaf counterparts. A slight maltenes adds to the typical Ceylon character.
A tea on very high demand.

Nuwar Eliya OP (High Grown Elevation)
Nuwara Eliya district is classified as the highest elevation where tea grows in Sri Lanka. The elevation and its location creates an ideal environment for the tea bush growth and also to produce some of the best teas in the world. The flavour is unique only to Nuwara Eliya and thus it does demand a higher price.
The light and yellow in cup and has a mild pungency and gives out the floral flavour which explodes in your taste buds with every sip of tea. The aroma when the tea is being brewed, fills up your sensors even before you consume it.
A must taste tea, and strongly recommend it be taken plain. Here again, should you wish to use milk, please use just a little as you want to taste the tea and not the milk..
