A lovely tea. A long well twisted leaf, the Orange Pekoe, is possibly the most wanted tea in the UK. Has a rich history and reputation for quality especially the OP grade. Has a reddish liquor with a golden tinge. Takes milk well although light in comparison to the small leaf counterparts. A slight maltenes adds to the typical Ceylon character.
A tea on very high demand.
It is said that Oolong tea has the best of both worlds i.e. Black tea and Green tea. This is a semi oxidation process thus having a greater proportion of antioxidants. A lovely aroma and a light greenish yellow cup. Has all the goodness as mentioned above with whole leaf rolled into pellet style end product.
